My friend this summer did have a C15 rebuilt with all Cat parts and C16 Cat tune. 825 hp at 1,600 rpms with 3,079 ft/lbs tq at 1,200 rpms on the dyno. Only 36 psi boost to achieve that.
I can't imagine how an engine with more displacement could make more torque, and due to a mathematical equation also make more horsepower due to V8's revving higher. What a quandary. We may never solve this question.
