Scania v8 better than cat engines?

Another aspect, most new European trucks are automatic transmissions, there are many American trucks with a manual still available, perhaps a V8 and Eaton 13 speed wouldn't match too well may even destroy the driveline over time from the high power, the European auto can more easily handle the V8 power....

 

That is awesome to watch.

how much torque does your truck have?

 

My freightliner is set at 2,050 tq. Plenty to pull 50 ton loads with ease.
