Scary side of trucking

I'm not a super trucker. I know how to use a smartphone and don't use meth as a driving aid.

No child-support payments or kids w/o a Dad, either.

I'm a competent regional driver that's been accelerated to management due to super-truckers thinking their cool pays the bills.

A smart mouth and an ### that likes being kicked isn't enough to draw a paycheck anymore.

 

Like a car does to a salesman, you represent a significant bump in their income.

Your idealism is going to cost you.

 

They are just trying to earn some money and put some bacon on their table. Just like the rest of us that drive hard to meet our appointments on time, they call hard to get people through the door.

Just understand that and move on. There's plenty of money to be made if you are a good driver.

Bs i had no problem making 1200 a week with swift. Turned in a couple 5300 dollar months . Mostly 4k was my average. But i ran my ### off and wasnt lazy.
