    :biggrin_2556: Hello Folks,
I have been royal screwed over by a company i remain to be silent about till I quit. I have inquired about two other jobs. Scheinder or U.S xpress wich is better? The company im with now talked about 10 of us into a lease and none of is making money...you would think one of us would profit but nope , its a scam. Anyways, Trying to move on to a better compay i inquired at Schinder and US xpress both have said they would take me. Unsure wich to go to . I already screwed up once. I have a house payment and 3 kids and sick wife at home. I cant afford to get behinde anymore on my mortage or they will forclose on us. So i want something with some type of income. THe company im with now im in the negetive cause of the lease (errr) :biggrin_2557: live and learn i guess!!! So wich would you guys chose and why?? New 4 month otr trucker :) God Bless!:biggrin_25525:

I suspect it depends on where you live, and whether or not being home is important. I would say Schneider has a better reputation on this board, but you can find opinions on both here on this forum.

I'd go with SNI if i were you. More good than bad on here and not much good at all for U.S. Xpress. Do your research before you make the switch. The job is what you make of it. Attitude is very important as well as your people skills. Take care and best of luck to you on the new job.

Depending on what your current company says about you, you may be lucky to get on with either one !!

Schneider is 10X better than USX, in my opinion.

I'd get more than just 2 leads, just in case !!!!!!!!

since you haven't quit yet...so far you are doing it right on the correct program.

In my opinion, Schneider would be a better shot...they do have a mighty lock on freight nationwide...a better base for the driver to work from...plus if you like being a lease operator...Schneider has a better than most program.

I've been with both! I was a lot happier at SNI than USX. USX would always tout about respect for each other, but that did NOT reflect on the way they treated drivers. Down there in Medway, [no longer their terminal], there were plenty of chicken scrawled signs every where you looked. The common thread was the key word DON'T this, or DON'T that. It was the only place that told you all about the things you could be fired for. And lies? And completely dysfunctional? That's good ol USX. I wouldn't let a dead dog go there! BTW, I lasted 8 month's there before I just said screw it!

After I left the afore mentioned dysfunctional moron asylum, I went to SNI.
It was like a night to day change. I was actually treated decent where ever I went. I never felt lied to or intentionally misled. My pay was always right. I didn't sit at all, if I had the hours.
Unfortunately, I've had to start staying home. Now these guys bent over backwards for me, trying to help me find a slot with them that would be more workable for my problem.
Hopefully, some day, I'll be out again driving, and you guessed it, SNI will be my first, and likely last stop.:biggrin_25525:

That's my recommendation. Like another poster said, do the research, do the phone calls, and read all about both. Hey, you might find a better fit for yourself elsewhere.

Good luck where ever ya land!!:biggrin_25525:

Hey fireman, I had to scroll across the screen for 20 seconds just to finish reading a line! Just kidding, but it seems like Schneider has a good safety rating. The pro's of US Xpress? Their trucks have automatic transmissions if you're into that sort of thing. At the end of the day, it's all up to you to decide. Just give one of the companies a shot, and if you don't like it after 6 to 12 months, apply to the other company. You don't have to stay with one company FOREVER. (Unless you want to be part of the million mile club or something).
