  1. Yeah, then you could use the Wicked Witch of the West to get a load back here. I am sure she's a broker. The flying monkeys are lumpers.:biggrin_2559:

That's not uncommon. Smuckers is just the property owner - even if it is part of their operation, the company who is in charge of the day-to-day operations (Excel) and their security subcontractor are responsible. I mean really... if you own commercial property, you need security. Do ya'll think the landlords really want to be in the rentacop business?

Me too (on "getting" it.) Rentacops aren't usually the brightest bulb in the pack! Bet Smuckers isn't appreciating the negative publicity though - I'd imagine the person in charge at the site for Excel may be looking for a job elsewhere soon.

I was at a Kroger warehouse during this... run by Atlas. They sent the lumpers out (they can always get more, yes?) to bring us in. So... with tornados around they put us in a cafeteria with two-storey high exterior windows.

Some one has kidneys in lieu of brains...

if every trucker wrote it would wake them up one or two won't do it but a tousand pi$$ed off truckers giving them a piece of their minds and explaining that they and their families would no longer buy their product and also spread the work to other truckers about what they done would wake them up, if something is perceived as potentially hurting their bottom line you can be they will take action, count on it
