I'm curious to see if anyone drives for Schneider in their fly and drive division. Basically, they fly you to a city, you get a truck and run regional for 21 days and fly you home. They claim two days for travel and a full five days home, then do it all over again. $45,000 to $65,000 is what they claim which varies on experience and what you make per mile. Anyone a part of this? Know someone who is or was? Thanks.

Would hate to think I had to fly with everything I would want for three weeks out.

    Yes, been through that discussion.
Fly and drive might , might make sense for someone out here but it didn't for me...Having made plenty of 15-22 hour and longer " Commuter " flights in my life it ain't that cool or romantic.....
sdaniel was right also ,try schlepping 3 wks. of supplies along to the truck through say Atlanta Hartsfield or Harrisburgh Pa.
Also you slip seat with GAWD knows who ,what if they are a real HAWG and leave you a pig sty to come to work in ...
    Passed on that one...

You could UPS ground ship your things to a terminal. Then ship them back home, would cost about 50$ each way though.
But if flying out is your only option it's worth checking in to.
Or just use the company car once you land and buy 75$ worth of bedding and supplies each month.

I drive for snbc and no way would I do that. You will make just as much if not more just being otr for 10-12 days out at a time then take 3 or 4 days off. No flying, no driving someone else's nasty but smelling truck. The problem with Schneider is they actually pay good but they don't understand that they need to up the pay or add a good bonus for doing jobs like fly and drive. Just like during the winter they asked if I wanted to be on dedicated runs out of west va to Pennsylvania and VA I believe. It was hauling 3 compartment tanks with hazmat caustic chemicals. Washing my own hoses etc. So this meant I would be wearing the pickle suit pretty much all the time. I asked what's the bonus pay or whatever for doing this all winter. They said the bonus is you get good miles it's dedicated runs. Lmao at these people I quickly said no thank you. Hazmat every load, pickle suit every day for no extra money, really snbc? So dumb you can't even make this stuff up if you tryed

Welcome to schneider...... Where they treat tankers just like van freight. Why would they charge our pay more, it's only hazmat.
