Well guys I'm considering not coming back to Schneider.......It's nothing against schneider at all, I think i want to go back flatbed and i can get my truck and trailer and go to landstar and get 72%. I haven't made the decision yet but i am definitely exploring the option.. but even if i leave the Pumpkin I'll be around....... I am a Patch'r for life LOL
-
heard lots of bad stuff about Landstar, man...but its like everything else, people have opinions.
-
Well I only want to run on percentage not mileage and Landstar is the only one who pays percentage and does flatbed...I am still researching and will look hard before signing on with anyone. I am also open to any other options any one knows of but it must be Percentage. I won't do mileage.

I was with landstar for a year.
If i wanted to do flats (which i have been considering) i might go back. NEVER for vans. Their van rates are way below ours -
Mercer, jones motor freight.
Just a tip. With landstar your not going to run close to home and your home time may not be acceptable to youTennMan Thanks this. -
Ive only seen the public loads they have online but no rates. They have freight around me but not close. I am In the research phase now and I want to get back into flatbeds. But i know i wont do vans with them. I will look into those companies too. Thanks for the response..

If I read this right it's 68-72%. Check it out. I wish you the best.

They will send u a screen caption.of their load board for your area. Dont be fooled on the rate. The rate you will see is gross plus fsc added to it.
They sent me one last month with an application trying to get me back. Only thing paying more then $1.35/mi was going to canada -
Well there is one reason Landstar would be better than the other's listed is they will provide the trailer to start. I need to look at trailer's too i guess.
