They are schneiders trucks. If you dont like it go somewhere else or buy your own. Power invertors are.the.number one cause of truck fires properly installed or not. Even fused the fans can and do burn out and the electronics overheat. Everything in them trucks is plastic now, doesnt take much heat to start plastic burning.
schneider is a privatly owned company which allows them the freedom to run it the way they want without the pressure of having to show the stockholders big profits every quarter. This means they can make decisions based on a much longer term outlook. In my book.its a much better system

I have a roof to go build today. Been putting it off long enough i guess. I hate heights.

Yea if you ever get to an OC and see a totally burned truck ask the mechan ic the reason and 9 out of 10 they will say an illegal inverter. And they will tell you it took about 5 mins to burn it to the ground due to the trucks being so flammable with the plastics and all. I never needed the big inverter a small one charges a laptop and my laptop doubles as dvd player and tv. Besides when i wanna have comforts of home I go home or if need be into a truck stop.

A small one. 20x32 with a 20x16 loft and a 8x32 screened porch. I have a lake lot im building it on. Actually havent started except for starting to dig holes for the foundation piers. The building im trying to get finished is a storage bldg with a loft so i dont have to run around toting all my tools back and forth in my suburban. Hope to have the house dried in by summer. My house now is going to forclosure so i dont know how long i have left before i have to be out

I figure if i work for a company and i've done my research before i hire on, then i should abide by their rules and regulations. I don't understand why people hire on and then complain about a company policy that is as transparent as the max inverter size allowed. now i don't always agree with policies but i try and follow them besides i've been around long enough and seen enough trucks on fire and that had already burnt to the ground that there's no way i wanna be asleep in one with an improper inverter and it catches fire. But i am kinda partial to living so maybe it's just me......

Cr england. That explains a lot. Sorry but you said you would never again be an owner op or ic or.whatever you said. A cre lease operator is not an owner operator. It sounded originally like you had been a sni ic.
