other picture of THIS truck. dont think its cool to post the #. You can see personal items left in whats left of the cab. Mattresses half burned up. You cant see either seat or the frames to them. At least I couldnt tell they were there.

Another day in workflow hell. It would seem I'm not the only driver who has realized that the inability to edit the ETD by the driver, is causing sheer chaos with the phones and dispatch.

Message comes in please edit your ETA. This came after my request for support to edit my ETD. What followed was almost 2 hours of pure hell, via QC. I gave up on phones week before last.

ETD corrected, then a new p/u location was added for trailer. Which in turn, reset EVERY #### update back to square one.

What followed was a lesson in what a driver WILL do once he's had enough. I got info, I know what to do. Just ignore the #### workflow, and do my job. Of course I did catch it up, once I got done what needed to be done.

Is it possible that we might hire 10 more MIT dropouts so we can really f### this up?

Just one simple fix. Add an edit ETD is all I want. That and the basic information on one page instead of 6

Stevep1977 Thanks for the information, I appreciate it buddy! I just got a call from a Schneider recruiter today. I finish with school on friday and I'm going to need a job real soon. The companies I've applied to are: Schneider, Roehl, Cargo Transporters, and Watkins & Shepard.

Cargo Transporters will start me out at 37 cpm. But Schneider starts at 29 cpm. Roehl starts at 30 cpm, and Watkins Shepard is 25 cpm. I'm starting to think about more than just the money. I would like good quality training and decent equipment, as well. I don't know, we'll see...

When you're talking to these different recruiters about cpm remember to ask them how much/if any part of that cpm is paid as a quarterly bonus...i.e. mpg, idle %, safety, on time and minimum miles produced per month...etc.

When I began driving (not for Schneider) the recruiter said .32 cpm when in reality it was .26 and IF you satisfied each criteria, then you were paid the quarterly bonus of .06 cpm. Funny thing, I would run my arse off for 2 1/2 months and then suddenly my miles per week would drop to NOTHING the last 2 weeks of the quarter...

Hmmm, NO BONUS FOR YOU! :biggrin_25516:

Got more info on burnt truck. Caught on fire while backed into a dock at a mall. Driver was asleep. Was able to get out and pull the fifth wheel and drive truck up to keep fire from spreading to trailer and/or mall. Shop found a hard wired not approved invertor and is saying that is cause.
