I get short haul under 200 miles all the time, at least 2 times per week.

What I see is it depends on where you are, I tend to get most short hauls when I am in the northeast, especially Jersey.

Well, my point basically was you're more likely to get them on regional because they crunch numbers and want to save as much as they can. Of course, when you're out east especially, you're going to get short runs way more often than out west, where I'm at now. But even then, I don't get that many short runs at all even if I'm out east. Maybe 1 a week tops. When I'm out east it seems like I'm getting 250 and 300 mile runs, they send the short hauls elsewhere apparently most of the time.

The biggest joke load I've ever took was a 0 mile load. Dead headed 60 miles to that Safeway in Upper Marlboro, MD. Was given 6 hours to drive 60 miles. Sat at the TA in Baltimore for 2 hours, then sat at the receiver for 4 hours. After 6 hours of waiting, had to drop my empty, hook up to the loaded trailer that was dropped in their yard, pull it out of the yard to the staging area, waited an hour and a half for a door, then sat there 4 hours waiting to get unloaded. Guess they just changed us from a drop carrier to having to sit through lumper unloads sometime recently.

Here's the question you should have ask.

Anyone checked their performance metrics? I've NEVER been more than 8% out of route on a load. Excluding short runs.

Yet my metrics show I'm at 37.9% OOR for the quarter. :biggrin_2552:

    Here's my stats

Jan : -100% out of route
    Feb : 37%?
    Mar : -3%

The stats are obviously totally screwed up. My OOR is always 6.5-7% on average.

My overspeed has always averaged 1.5-2%. It's showing my overspeed as 37% for Feb, 1.8% for march. I guess 37% is the magic number

    :biggrin_2559: Must be.

On the QC, I show 66% time in cruise. Yet top gear reflects less than 1%.

How can that be possible??? Unless I cruise in every gear except 10th.
