Was just wondering if schneider paid you for your time while participating in the annual.
Im not trying to offend, but Im kinda wondering why this particular exercise is necessary, when you do it every day.
If they dont have enough faith in a driver to do what he knows how to do,then how did he make it this far for an annual re certification. My time is money.
Do any other companies do this annual check?

You'll get paid for it. Either $15 or $30. Probably $15, but not sure.

    OPUS 7 Thanks this.

I am going with Schneider, start orientation on 3/27. Any tips? Is the equipment decent? How often do you get paid?

    Any trainers in here?

Stuff I forgot to ask the recruiter...

    Thanks.

Long day today. Started in Alabama. Made it to Edwardsville with 20 minutes of drive time left.

Yea,the ac is great!Close the curatins, and it keeps up well.Hope it still does its job when we get into summertime.
Trucks also very quiet! That goes a long way at the end of they day when your tired.love the truck.
Not too sure about the onguard. That thing trips off sometimes when you dont want it to,and stabs the brake :biggrin_25510:
Still love the ride, and tons of space.

So, I drop my Load in Lake City, MI, and get another load going to North Carolina, immediately following the load is a message from my dbl to swing into Obetz on my way to NC on Saturday and pick up my new truck, #44###.

Ok, it's an older truck, no big deal. As I am getting my next load, I get another message, "change of plans, your new truck will be #66###, Chad from training will be calling you to go over some things you need to know about the knew truck"

Chad calls, I have to go on crossroads and watch 3 "new cascadia" training videos, and when I get to the yard tomorrow do a walk around the truck and a checklist with the mechanic.

New Cascadia for me in the morning!!
