it makes me apprehensive, but in the end, i realize the troubles can't last forever.

i think i know how the truckers and probably dbls feel about the system...what i'm really curious about is how workflow is affecting the customers. are the customers getting recieving or shipping thier product out on time? doesn't seem like it if truckers are having problems just finding empty trailers. i wonder if some aren't being permanently lost because of clerical errors because of workflow. if the system thinks the empties are in certain spots and they're not, then where are they? if empty trailers are actually being lost, orphaned like that...that's gotta be hurting the company too.

i'm sure the company will get it's act together in regards to workflow. if for nothing else, because the company might be bleeding efficiency, profit, equipment and/or trained employees.

Well the trailer issue tied to workflow caused a 12 hour delay in my load. HOS prevented me from moving once they finally got it together.

Which is fine. I gotta sit on the thing till morning anyway. Got here yesterday. :(

I just wanted to drive a truck, and cuss alot on the cb.Is that too much to ask?
But,noo!!We need to impose this new fandangley, office geek thought out(poorly I might add) system!:smt117
It does take up LOTS of time, every day, especially if your on multi stops.Hell,I could write a novel every week, with the amount of time I spend on this stupid thing.
And don't you dare have a cell phone in your ear, that might distract you from being a safe driver.

way to really sell the new system guys!!!!!!:biggrin_25523:

I hear the DBLs are none too pleased with it too. if WE make 1 mistake , it takes correcting in 4 or 5 places by them to make it right on both ends. Hence the long wiat times to procede. I'd expect its the same deal on their end. Hence the long wait times.

    moosc Thanks this.

here I was all set to complain about being shorted 138 miles on this load I have under me. Its like the forgot to factor in the fuel solution to the paid miles. That distance exactly it what I'm short from what the load info says is paid miles.

if you scratched SNI off your list because of this, you are gonna have a rough time. This is a tiny problem compared to problems you can run into with some companies, and every company, eventually, is gonna be on elogs anyways. Once WF has the bugs worked out(after the whole company is switched) it will make life even easier.

I can think of a lot of different reasons to not go drive for a company, this would be almost last on the list.

I don't know if anyone else has noticed this on WF, but on the old system I was getting shorted miles way more when compared to workflow. Seems like they have been bumping up the miles to counter the frustration with the bugs.

I have noticed a bunch of loads that pay more miles (no more than 10 so far) than the actual miles.

Work Flow was not the only reason. It was kind of the final deciding factor. There are a few other things that I don't care for at SNI.

Not saying SNI is not a good company to work for. I just don't think they are a good fit for me.
