Lol, I finished up a Walmart load with 3 stops and still have over 7 hours left to drive. I have a new load but it doesn't pick up until tomorrow morning, then goes 221 miles north to Tacoma Washington where I have a feeling I will have to sit for another load. Either that or deadhead about 150 miles to grandview to pick up another Walmart load.

I'm beginning to think that it has a lot to do with your DBL as they have to update your ETD on their end based on the ETA you send in. My ETD never was updated at first, but I noticed that it's getting changed a lot faster now. They also need to make sure you are loaded. Now, the past 3+ weeks have been good for me because I've been catching huge loads. Here's a list of loads:

    40 miles, 220, 1050, 1300, 1300, 1700, 800, 700, 700, 2100.

So, if you are getting short runs, you are going to need to get loaded out every day, multiple times a day some times. Your DBL needs to keep up with more. Plus, depending on what territory you're in, who knows if one area's trip planner is clueless or not. I'm sure I won't be headed west again this upcoming month (heading back to Gary tomorrow for TAH), so we'll see what happens when I get back to more normal loads. (send me back west if you're reading this oh excellent DBL :biggrin_25515:)

Problem..... My DBL appears to have become a part time employee as of late.

Not in today. Has been out a lot.

So it's easy to see where some of my issues lie.

I've got the workflow down pat. But, I can't prevent anyone from altering or withholding the information. Which seems to occur with increased frequency lately.

May need to get new DBL

well my workflow transition is delayed until tomorrow. I only have 45 mins left on my 70 and my DBL didn't want to chance putting me in violation if it took longer than that.

Anyone know of anything to do in Carneys Point, NJ? Stuck here until the morning:biggrin_25521:

let me know how it goes,(since we have the same dbl) I am hitting it at 0800 tomorrow morning.

After talking to a lot of people, I am finding that getting loads quickly is really really dependent on you DBL with WF, if that is the case I expect minimal problems.
