Its a 387 and its south of cedar rapids. Im not sure ibwill get one yet. I wanted to trade mine.in for enough to cover the down payment but he says he will give me $3k off the downpayment of $4500. Leaves me to come up with $1500 for dp plus another 750 or so for the 2290, dyno run, etc. And thats a tall order at christmass when my checks are having almost 300/week taken out to pay for tires.

hell take those tires off before it goes away.

The pete has new rubber too but if mine is better it will get swapped. He wouldnt give me as much trade with the racing slicks it had. Four.of them failed the dot.

I wish i could have got the deal worked before i bought tires but it took a while. My truck failed dot inspection over two weeks ago. I HAD to get it to pass

Well completed my orientation on Friday. Talked to TE on Sunday and he was at another OC. He wasnt familiar with how we should meet up since he was at an OC other than Atlanta. Well I sat on pins and needles all day Monday waiting for TE to call me. Never did, so I called him around 4:45 and he said he he had been in class all day and he had received load going west, not coming toward Atlanta. So here I sit in Atlanta, waiting for directions. Hopefully they will connect me with a TE out of the Atlanta OC soon. Not sure why they set me up with a TE from another OC. Thoughts please.

where was he at?

Trainer shortage, holidays, vacation time, lack of communication.
This time of year is really hectic on every department.
Sounds like a lack of communication to me. DBL, driver, and training.
As for the actual home of the trainer. That's irrelevant for your purposes. You won't be getting home nightly -
well his load going to the west he may be able to swing thru atlanta, like say if he was in charlotte they may have wanted him to swing and pick you up or they may want you to go meet him in route. who knows really!

He was in Charlotte. I believe he was focused on getting load delivered and not really being bothered with student days before Christmas. Said he was trying to get back home Friday or early Saturday. I would prefer a TE out of Atlanta and would like my 10 days in one chunk, not broken up into 2 five day periods. He was headed to Nashville. All of the other students have already gone out with TE's.
