Don't post on here very often but here's one for the books. Bring a relay to an OC...4 hours left on my day..wait for assignment.... 2 hrs later get one..pick up a different relay, 560 mile run, delivers next day. Look for trailer no where to be found. Check with desk, trailer hasn't come in. Call support.."oh he'll bet there shortly." figure I might as well wait and get early start after 10 hr break. Check with desk, no trailer. 3 calls later..no one seems to come out and say it..but looks like driver blew off relay as he's 2 states closer to delivery than he was earlier. they finally take relay off me and 17 hours later I still don't have a load. wtf.

Now that reeks. I don't mind freetime, but not in the truck.

So I didn't get the new truck I wanted. Got a new to me Albino 2010 Century with a DD15. Actually like it though. Has the side door for the bunk. Helps keep it cool when sitting. lol Got back to the OC today in time to see someone moving into my old truck. Turns out it's new home is Irvingdale.

Can't be too long until I trade this one in for a new or newer one. Who here has one of the newest trucks with the auto braking bs in it and how is it?

The two trucks we use for this 6/3 slipseating are both black 2010 Century's. I like em. Except this one I'm in now has seen better days with the trans, real sloppy. grinds like *&^%$W# too. havent consistantly caught the sweet spot yet for shifting. This one also has about 75 K more than the other one i was driving solo. Hope these other guys take care of it.

do the OCs NOT pay attention to what trailer you are under when you enter the yard? Indy today to fuel. As I'm leaving they say" we dont show this assigned to you" Well I've had it since yesterday getting loaded? I also came IN to the yard about 15 mins ago to fuel? " Ok, have a safe trip" Seriously?

Yeah I had that happen to me at the Dallas OC this week. But they at least told me as I was driving in so I could get it fixed. Apparently WF is having a little trouble updating.

    I have one.

The collision system can be nice and it can be a pain, but you get use to it. It has gotten to the point where my brain just tunes out the constant beeping, LOL.

Well, on my last stop for this load (picked up at a secured yard in Phoenix AZ, 2 separate deliveries, all within a 25 mile radius), and I don't have a new preassignment yet so its not looking too good :biggrin_2557:
