Lol... Cruise limit is 62, flooring it gets you 65! How much time does everyone think they are gonna gain going 3 mph faster.

My cruise only does 60, my pedal does 64-65. Let's say I drive 8 hours per day for 7 days at 60 mph, 3360 miles. 8 hours a day 7 days a week at 65, 3640 miles. That's 280 more miles per week. Let's say, you got to go 600 miles. At 60 it will take 10 hours, 65 about 9.25 hours. 45 minutes saved that day.

An extra 3-5 mph doesn't sound like much but it adds up.

On paper yes but in the real world no. I can maybe justify it going coast to coast forfor everyday, no.

Figures are still close. When I drive all day and use the cruise, 500-600 miles, I average from 54-56 mph (depending on route, stoping, etc). I've averaged 58 mph in a day once using the cruise. Doing 65 with the pedal all day I've been able to average 60-63 mph for the day. I can also climb hills in 10th with a 35k load without having to downshift, same hills at 60 I have to downshift into 9th. 65 puts me in the middle of my powerband where i have the most power. I havnt noticed any drop in mpg either.
