thanks poker! im cant wait! lol to the above. I hate girlie smells in my truck! lol. That is why i kept a coffee pot at hand and my real creamer in the fridge! for being stuck in BFE and no real food or coffee! even kept a gallon of water under the bunk for washing up if i had to. and i had to quite a few times. sponge bath and then washin hair behind the trailer lol. I never trained girls because of thier perfume and hairspray habits. gag. do it in the bathroom! i like my lotions ansd stuff like others, but dont like the lasting smell gaggingme in the truck all day lol

Mostly scale house and rest areas. Some have food and drinks and info on safe driving. really depends on what state your a lot of east coasters run it not so in Midwest. As to what to expect nothing fancy its a typical dot inspection. This year there biggest concerns are brakes and log books. Don't sweet it its all good. And be polite not a ### and it will go smooth.

Yeah, haven't noticed anything different out here. The 2 scales that were actually open that I passed let me go by, and there were hardly anybody at them, too.

I am very interested in how it goes for ya. I've been thinking of going that route once ive got a year of experience or so. What kind of start up cash are you starting out with if you don't mind me asking.

Good luck and may the green stuff line your pockets.

Don't finance the truck with Schneider. Do it at a private bank.

So I am noticing a pay pattern. I keep getting paid for loads a week early.

I came back from TAH on Thursday and picked up a load in Columbus going to Fontana. 2200 miles. I delivered it Sunday night, which means I shouldn't be paid for it until next week, but it is on this weeks settlement. Seems I am getting paid for a load after I picked it up even if I deliver the next week, this is like the 5th week in a row it has happened.

    Anyone else?
