I can handle Velcro. If they put more on, it best be Velcro, or I'm taking them off again as soon as the zipper gets all jacked up again.

Just above your passenger side door on the outside. There should be a screw. Keep the metal bracket on the radio antennae. You might have to bend it a tad. That's where I put mine. Looked good to. It's also well grounded. I think it's a torx screw. about a 30.

I,m in a Century now, but I already have a plan for mounting my magnetic sat antenna when I get switched over. I'm currently testing it and it seems to work great. Take a peice of flat steel. Cut it about 4" long. Drill a hole in it just big enough for the passenger side truck antenna stud to fit thru. Mount it. Then mount the magnet to it.

Thanks, I'll look into that tomorrow when I get back to the truck. Looking good is important to me. Don't want wires and stuff hanging all over the outside of the truck. It's bad enough that there's a web on my dash from all the electronics and power cords. I lined it up with the QC mount tonight and it would be at the perfect height if I just bolted/ziptied it up there. Would just have to pick up a cable extension to reach my receiver.

Saw a Canadian driver today in Gary. He had his antenna mounted like that but said it sucked. Any time the passenger side of his truck faces north the signal is intermittent at best if it works at all. It was also interfering with his CB/AM/FM radio signal. I'm also trying to avoid having a wire hanging off the side of the truck. With it mounted out back I can run the wire down through the wing supports, under the cab, and then up through either the passenger door or some other hole if I can find one.

No. I've been doing local stuff in the Milwaukee/Chicago area for the past week. I just got the truck on Tuesday and it had to have it's first PM done Wednesday night in Gary. My DBL said he would get on the planners to find me somthing decent to finish out the week. So far I have a whole 600 miles in 4 days this week.

My truck has the OnGuard system in it. I like it. Once I found the volume and LCD brightness settings it's much better. Doesn't blind me at night and if I don't want to listen to the beeping I just turn my music up a couple notches. It trips on shadows every now and then but other than that it's fine.

It is nice to finally have headlights that actually put out more than 1/2 watt of light. I can actually see stuff at night now.

Also, not sure who though it was a good idea to bury the Fuse box in the dash and require torx bits to remove the glove box to access it. I have a fuse thats blown for 2 of my power points in the back. Can't find the right one though because I can't even get a decent grip on most of the fuses to pull and check them. Went to Walmart and bought some shelves today. Was finally able to organize the interior. No more 3ft tall pile of crap in the cabinets. Wish they had shelves in them like the Centurys.
