Sounds like what I had happen in a Cascadia once. The regen system wasn't working correctly so it kept firing fuel into it but the fuel wasn't burning so it just kept pumping in yet more fuel. The fuel gauge did as you discribed, you could watch it go down. They had to replace a bunch of parts spent 3 days at FL in Twin Falls, ID.

Well, made it to Gary. They won't be able to look at my truck until tomorrow afternoon. I've been given a loaner (a stupid Century, of course, and it smells) so I can finish my load tomorrow since they're short on drivers. Tis okay though, I was coming to Gary to have a bunch of other things looked at anyway.

2. I don't feel qualified enough to find a coolant sensor, or to be cutting wires.
Thanks for the advice! -
NICE!! Good info, good to know! -
so yesterday I couldnt find an mt to save my life. Get to CN this morning and the trailer I chose after dropping load had a flat!!!!!! Did the right thing and called it in. Turns out someone had taken 4 of the valve stem caps off that trailer. One of the valve stems had either been loosened on purpose or came loose on its own somehow. But road service tightened it up, aired it up and replaced the caps for me. Was on my way in an hour from calling it in.,
After my experience yesterday, I wasnt going to pawn it off on another driver.stlwaco and Female Driver Thank this. -

My brandnew truck is experiencing some electrical issues

Well..... not too happy right now. I came to find earlier today that all my trailer lights except my turn signals stopped working. Pulled into the French camp OC to have the shop take a look. The mechanic found an issue with the trailer and fixed but still no trailer lights except turn signals. After an hour of going over it the mechanic cant find the problem and he thinks its an internal wiring issue, so I have to wait until tomorrow morning when the lead tractor mechanic comes in.
So then after I find that out I park it and call support shift to let them know. Was on hold for 45 minutes and the guy had the balls to get pissy with me because I didn't call in soon enough and the loads going to be a service failure... I'm 70 miles from my drop, its not like I knew I was going to have to wait until tomorrow to get it fixed.
Have no clue how long it will take to get fixed. I have to sit on the load until tomorrow midnight when i gett an estimated time of completion from the shop, and I'm sure they won't know until they track down the problem.
On the bright side, the mechanic told me that Schneider was planning on getting rid of OnGuard as there have been too many problems with it. My personal opinion is its ####### retarded. It isn't as bad as I thought it was going to be, but its utterly retarded and is designed to make drivers who shouldn't be driving in the first place "safe". Schneider should have spent the money installing apu's rather then wasting it on this bs. -
Looking like my truck won't be fixed for a couple days. The shop is short handed and backed up with work. The mechanic says they will probably have to rip the truck apart to find where the wires are pinched or chaffed. I've got a load on me that's already late and a preassignment that's delivers by 1400 tomorrow 450 miles away. Freight is booming and there arnt any available drivers. My dbl is also having problems finding me a loaner.
