On think the ingaurd system is a real good tool. I'm all for it... But then again, I've only got over a million miles. I'm not that good of a driver.

We've got it here at Crete. Mine works well for the most part. Not overly sensitive, IMHO. Only issue is sometimes if someone is turning a corner in front of me and I get too close for OGs comfort, it'll react pretty abruptly.

I personally think it takes responsibility out of drivers hands by doing what the driver should already be doing. It makes me feel lazy, I prefer to have control over what I drive. It may be consider "handy" by some drivers as it matches the speed of the vehicle ahead of you and keeps you at a safe distance and also slows you down if someone cuts in front of you, early braking.

But the way I see it, the driver should be aware of conditions he's in and should be expecting anything. It's called being alert.... It's not hard to do, and I dont have the desire to be taken out of the equation, even just the slightest bit, by a #### computer.

So who likes looking at there scorecard on crossroads? Some of it is retarded but some is interesting like average length of haul should be 350 miles

Lol, I don't understand what most of it means but it is kind of interesting to look at all your statistics.

Agreed. Technology makes people lazy and sometimes stupid. Pretty soon vehicles will be driving by themselves.

Look at Ultra Shifts as an example. Nobody wants to drive them. Hundreds of them parked. Wasted money.

What I really want is a COE. I'd even take an early one left over from the 80's They're awesome. I've seen one driver still rollin' one. He's one of the last Union drivers Schneider has back when it was Schneider Freight. Schneider should invest in some current models of COE's. Sign me up!

I'd take a automatic over my stick. Especially the new generation ones. Technology is here either accept or get left behind. I hate being old technology is becoming awesome. And I doubt sni will stop using they get a nice insurance break for it.
