Pros: stop and go traffic. Enough said.
They do seem to have a bit more get up and go.

Cons: not good to have in the mountains.
Lil tricky when your bumping a dock when your used to a stick. My first bump was more like a slam.
Same when stopped on an incline. You have to know how much gas you wanna give it. It's hard to get used having your left foot on the brake

No sir. I do believe I am very confident. My arrogant years is my first 2 years or so. Only difference is, I respected drivers who had been there and done that. Maybe you should heed that advice.

Unfortunately most trucks are blonde and can't think that well. So you knowing that you have a heavy load or a light load will tell you what gear you want to be in. Sticks are better in the hills. But in flatter areas like down here in the south, autos are nice to have.

whatever dude. You come across like on some kind of highhorse and have for a awhile now. When I want advice , I'll ask for it. FYI, I have from the people who showed they should be respected by their demeanor and character. Safe travels.

It has a tendency to keep wanting to upshift once you reach a certain RPM, even if you set it to "manual". You generally want to maintain your gear when going down a grade. Upgrades wouldn't be an issue since it'll just select the ideal gear to pull up the hill automatically.

And it's also kind of humorous that he is ripping on someone that's ragging on automatics when the guy lives in Oregon and is constantly driving through mountains out west. I guess he didn't factor that in when a guy stated he hates autos and then turns around and states that they're "not good to have in mountains" when the guys is always driving in mountain ranges.
