THX is a cross border drop yard used by multiple carriers in Otay Mesa, CA. We used to have an SNI yard in Otay Mesa on the other side of the 905, but we closed it and went with THX. This all happened when the border was opened to mexican trucks. You can stay there from what I've heard, but I haven't been there since we started using it.

I just had my first blow out. I was >this< close to getting back to Gary, and getting my truck. I'm beyond disappointed. At this point, I'll be lucky to have enough hours left today to get myself up to the next off ramp. $#&% nuggets!

I've been there a few times. First time, the place was a #### hole. Lots of empties but 95% of them were blocked in and 95% of them had stolen tail lights. I told my dbl about it and since then they must have done something. The yard is organized and they take the lights off on the way in so they don't go missing.

Don't know about staying there. They are open 24/7. There's a pilot down the road from it.

Well, SNI can think twice about sending me a NYC load from now on. The only reason I don't complain about them is because I don't get them often and I like the extra pay. I just checked my pay detail, and they didn't pay me extra for my load to Queens. My DBL is out sick, has been for 2 weeks, so I called my fill in DBL and was told my load was to College Point, not Queens, so I don't get extra pay. WTF? College Point IS IN QUEENS!!!! Not to happy about it. Waiting for my load after that to show up, that address WAS in the Bronx, so I better bet paid for that!

At home watching wrestling with my girls. Monday nights are my 3rd favorite nights of the week behind Friday and Saturday nights.

2984 miles in the last 6 days, 427 miles from my delivery tomorrow, then I get to sit in San Diego and take a 34 hour restart. I'm thinking I'm gonna be idling all day.

Man, I wouldn't that extra pay just go... Clearly you should get NYC pay for it.
