Don't they have you using any kind of tie off while up there? Even if it were just during training while getting used to being up there.

No tie offs, maybe in the future? Im taking it as a accident and i thanked the Good Lord for watching over me, its a scary feeling knowing ur falling 11.5 feet and know idea on what the out come will be.

 

It's been that way since I started in this industry in '04. My Step-Mother-in-Law, is a hard core conservative and her favorite shows are NCIS and Law and Order, she also gets all her "news" from fox. Pretty sure that explains it since most drivers are hard core conservatives.

 

Last week a bum was pestering me to buy him a ice cream or hoagie at a truck stop. He said He was hungry so I offered what food I had left in my rig, a half a loaf of bread and a can of green beans. He said He wasn't hungry for that kind of food. Well then I guess you really aren't hungry now are you?

Time goes by so sllllooooooooooowwwwwww when I'm now running. Been sitting at the Fontana OC since 15:30 on Sunday. My delivery isn't until 11:00 tomorrow. I've been out a little over 4 weeks now and have my home time set for 6 weeks out and 6 days home. Can't wait, my friend will be back from working in Hawaii and he's finally 21, which means....... Pub crawl.

 

I refrained from commenting on whether that was a good thing or a bad thing. Understanding a POV is different then criticizing it.

 

I so agree!! Let's only keep it TRUCKING!!! Cuz after all, nothing in this world is more important than 18 wheels. Trucking is life! #sarcasm
