Remember even as a trainee, things can and will go on your dac. You do something and you know the te is watching his ### not yours. Use some common sense, if its not right do something about it, its your job.
Now, to be fair, if you come off a 10, you can legally sit front seat two hours before or after in the work seat and log SB. I do know the TE arnt suppose to workbeyond their 14 even tho its legal -
There are currently 17 dedicated openings in the Dallas area, although 12 are susceptible to being taken by guys at the other end of the route. -

Well after being broken down for most of Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday at the Fontana OC, my truck was finally finished at 1500 on Tuesday. About 15 minutes later I found out that they never replaced the secondary tractor protection valve and I had to put it back into the shop. Finally left the OC at about 1800 and drove 572 miles. About 2 hours ago my onguard system and cruise control took a #### on me. And now about half an hour ago I had a trailer tire recap blow out on me and wrap around my axle. Doesn't appear to have caused any damage though. I'm at a rest area with no services out in the middle of nowhere in New Mexico and I'm headed up to Pueblo Colorado. Was going to deliver at midnight, take my 10 and be ready with a fresh clock tomorrow but that isn't going to happen now.
