I finally made it to the Iowa 80 truck stop. I don't know what I was expecting, but obviously I set my expectations up too high. I even had decided that I would definitely fork out the bucks for one of those real refrigerator/freezers that have the 12v plug while I was here, but they didn't have any. At least I can say I've been here now, and don't ever have to feel the need to come again.

I'm headed to Burlington, IA in the morning. I'm hoping that I can keep away from the MI/OH/IL/WI area - it's pretty much where I've been the past month.

Got an appointment for a live load at 0900 tomorrow morning half a mile from me in Flagler CO. Then I'm headed down to San Antonio TX. Delivery appointment isn't until 2200 on the 19th though which sucks.

 

Female driver are you on the mid west regional fleet, if so what states do you normally run.

We picked up a fridge one of the real ones for 200 bucks at the Pilot right next to the gary OC, it was 250 across the street at the TA, glad I shopped around. Anyway its a really good one, drops 54 degrees from outside temp, I have frozen water in it.
