I think it might depend on who your DBL is, or who your planners are, and location. It seems, from what I'm reading here, that the miles we're given are all different. For me, I would rather take it more slow, but SNI keeps piling them on me. I average 2500-2800 a week I think, although I usually take as much as my own sweet time as I possibly can within reason. Surely I'd get way more if I'd pick up my pace. I'm not entirely sure what I make per week - I have only checked a handful of times and they were like $400-$800. I suspect they're a touch more now that my tuition reimbursement should have kicked in. I think that's like an extra $100 a week, or month.

Freakin' sweet! I am picking up a load here in Pueblo, CO and taking it to Laredo, TX, but I need to reset after driving tomorrow... trying to decide where. Not that it's Miami Beach or anything even close to it, but I'm thinking Amarillo, TX. I can park my truck at the TS and stay at the hotel there. My only requirements are good food options and a bar. So Amarillo it is, unless I can figure out something more exotic. I don't think there is any though - I basically drove that route today and saw Jack ######.

I'm sorry but I don't have the time to look up older posts. Just let him answer here. I am going to go out on a limb here and suggest that he doesn't paid for every mile he drives and has to give free time to his company. Let him correct me if I am wrong.

prob the single best improvement so far is your NAT is no longer tied to ETD but now to your ETA for your final stop. It also allows you to update your NAT and immediately update your ETA's. Used to have to wait for the system to cycle through before you could do that.

One of the recent ones is for preassigns they are listed in order of delivery not necessarily in order of posting. theres a little info bar with dvr # and how many assignments are in queue.

sometimes I just don't understand the box planners AT ALL.

Delivered to BJ's in Burlington NJ. Called in to get a control # and MT # to get an empty trailer and was told there are none, they would find me one and update my pre assignment.

10 minutes late, I get an update to pick up trailer #taxxxxxx at Rite Aid in Fairless Hills PA. Show up and that trailer isn't there, and there are no MT's there. Send in my exemption, and wait, and wait, and wait. Finally call after an hour. Green Bay tells me they will find one or get permission for me to BT to the customer. Told them I was almost out of time, so I would be parking at the Drop Lot in Fairless Hills for the night, so I could get an MT there, so they said they would let the planner know.

Get to the drop lot, and get an update to pick up an MT in FREAKIN DELEWARE!!!!! What? Just so I can drive back up to Jersey and pick up my load and then drive back down south? WTH sense does that make? There are 5 MT trailers here and they won't let me take one of these???

Sometimes I just shake my head, ya know what I mean???

Ooh, then I'll check them out. I'm thinking I'll get there late tomorrow, so I'll just hang at the TS until check in time, and then go to the hotel... especially since my AC has crapped out on me. (that way I get there when it starts to cool down). I needs to get myself into an OC and have it fixed. I pretty much had my whole AC overhauled a few weeks ago... It's this dang "No Data Link J1939" thing I get when I turn my truck off, and all my HVAC faults... at least that's what I'm coming up with when I Google my issue. My AC would work sometimes, and then not sometimes.... or work a "bit". Now it's just completely gone. *grumble grumble grumble*

    is it an 05-09 century?

Had that problem once.....pop the hood, find the radiator overflow, there should be a wire connection coming out of it.....unhook it, check the connections, bend the metal pieces closer together to get a better connection, then plug it back in, worked for me!

No, an '08 Cascadia. I might try your tip though, just for poos and giggles... and desperation.

Oh, and speaking of Amarillo... I just did some freaking trip planning (I'm such a pro at this truck driving thing - not) and realized my PU is in Henderson... 130 miles North of where I'm at now. So Amarillo is out of the question. Looking for a plan B. Looks like I'm taking 287 south if anybody has any brilliant ideas for me. So far, I am only at Lamar, CO, which does give me some hotel options. Still looking though.

ETA - perhaps Limon, CO. I wouldn't be driving much tomorrow, but whatevs. There's a Super 8 with a Mex restaurant nearby... that'd work.
