customer id, but when you ask for an mt from the WF messages it will auto populate with the location you are at or the next customer location(does that make any sense). Just write down the cust loc # and hit that message, double check its filled in correctly.

Does of auto populate with the location your at or just the location on workflow where you are supposed to pick up at. Say for example, customer in Irwindale had no available empties, so I bobtail to the Fontana OC, does workflow auto populate the code for the fontana OC?

 

Well that pisses me off. Some people just don't make any sense. I bobtailed 30 miles last night to the Fontana OC to take a 10 and get an empty because Walmart had none available. I've got a list of empties here at the OC but dispatch wants me to drive 30 miles back to the Walmart so Walmart can release one to me. 30 miles in the wrong direction of my preassignment...... Like, really?

 

I'll be in Fontana OC on Tuesday to start orientation!! Ready to go!

 

If its in the opposite direction tell them its gonna waste time on your hos time and use unnecessary fuel

 

Drove back to the Walmart and there are exactly 0 empties. Figures! I'm calling in, ########, and making sure I get paid the 70 mile round trip, plus whatever I have to do to get a #### empty. ####### idiots!

If I have an actual assignment/stop on workflow I do. If not I have to call in and make sure they add it.
