So I guess they're going to fire all those drivers with CPAP and quit being a industry leader on this?

True but with wiseway it is greener. If it wasn't for furniture dropping in Nc I would still b there. I was there 8 years but didn't feel like moving back to wis.

When I was there id get home on Fri and leave Mon. With choice I've heard if you didn't make a certain amount they would demote you. As long as u can make those truck payments I guess you can stay home as long u want

But now, considering a return, I'm not sure I will, given the restrictive idle they are apparently going to implement. I agree with the poster who said "you don't treat humans like that". If there are "problem idlers", deal with them individually. The "all must suffer" mentality is not acceptable. -
Thanks for all the input guys and Jenna
meeting is tomorrow. I'm gonna bring up all this plus some.
If they decide to still implement this I will urge a lower upper threshold.
According to what was emailed to me, CPAP users will all be running the low power 12v machines by then.Female Driver Thanks this. -

Has anyone seen the report below? I know it is 7 years old but...
I wonder if adding the temperature sensor is a precursor to adding cooling devices to the trucks. According to the report, SNI can not justify paying for the devices without enforcing no idlling rules.

FYI a couple years ago the gov had a big push for grants for apus for semis. Company's can apply and if approved the gov will cover some of the cost. Well SNI got approved but guess where those apus ended up on lease trucks where u guessed SNI still charged leasers for those units. Kinda of like double dipping. When I went through orientation I asked the terminal manager about apus his response there costly to maintain and not feasible. I had a broucure saying total opposite he was so angry he left. Every one was shocked I was still hired.

Yay, I get to get up at 3am, drive 3.5 miles to do a drop and hook, drive 3.5 miles back to this home depot and wait until 0800 when my 10 hour break is over or until I get a preassignment.
