I think that would be hard to do since every thing they do to the trucks is logged in on a computer

 

So as I have reported this issue with maintenance plenty of times. When bunk heater is on I can't watch TV laptop or use this awesome device called cpap. So does this mean I get to freeze because if I don't use threre cpap I get fired. Just like tonight its 25 out side im running cpap as soon I fire up bunk heater cpap goes out . Guess its back to idling

Get a hold of the Safety department. Not being able to use your CPAP and bunk heater at the same time sounds like a safety problem to me. If you can't get the shop to fix the problem on their own get the safety guys involved. If it's an older truck they may just give you a newer one if it will be too hard to fix.

 

Its a 2010 but has always been gremlins in it. I'll idle tonight then email the dbl in am. Maybe I'll get response in am

Quick question, I have my CDL, finished all the pre-hire stuff and waiting for my Orientation on the 23rd of this month. Been reading alot where Schneider charges you for their training......is it the same cost if you have a Class A already? I know you sign a contract and they repay you if you stay with the company long enough. Does Swift do the same?

 

Schneider doesn't charge you for training they pay you for training swift charges you if I go to thru their cdl school just like England

 

I've gotten by the anti idle by setting the trailer brakes and leaving the tractor alone, thus foolin the truck into thinking its at a light. Might work with some trucks unless they fixed it.
