oh, I would relay it, but the "freight is soft" line tempted me to keep it, they told me they would relay it but couldn't find me another load, so whats the point?

By the end of the day I'll have 3800 miles in 7 days. I'm taking a 34 hour restart at a Walmart a couple miles from my delivery which has a live unload appointment at 12:30 on the 23rd. I don't gain anytime until the 23rd but the same day I gain hours I will actually start with a fresh 70 due to finishing restart. I manage my time the best I can while legally getting away with it.

Oh also, when I get the the Walmart I'll only have about an hour left on my 70. Not much to do with that.

Boggling? That comment was boggling. :biggrin_25524:Do you understand how the 70 clock works? I sometimes don't take a reset every week, but if I am getting good runs, I'll go hard and then take a reset. It works out the same in the end, and just comes down to personal preference.

It's not that drivers who take resets have poor time management skills.

On a random note... I see a lot of drivers (not just pumpkin drivers by any means) who mount their personal GPS units on their windshield wrong. One of my buddies got inspected by ODOT (Ohio) a few weeks ago and got cited for his GPS... It can't be anywhere on your windshield where it obstructs the view of where your wipers go. Just figured I'd let y'all know in case someone wasn't aware. Be safe out there!

I'd rather run hard everyday and only take a 10 break, leading to a reset planned for an OC as much as possible. Sure beats running only 8 hours or so a day and spending 16 hours in a truckstop. I can't stand being around truckstops 1 second longer than I have to.
