I think this is more like the cost. either way, it is still not bad. Almost worth trying to run it and see what happens. What is the worst than can happen, take it out of your check? It would be worth it prob in the long run. :biggrin_25524:

Wonder if your state's labor law would have something to say about that...

No they wouldn't, because it's a company policy that you agreed to when you got the job. It's no different than using a company credit card for a personal purchase and them pulling that from your paycheck. They provide the pass for the tolls they approve of.

Well, after doing a drop and hook at 1200 yesterday I sat waiting for a load until 1530. I had to deadhead 120 miles west to the West Memphis OC, then drive all night to a live unload appointment at 0430 this morning in Shepherdsville KY. Supposed to be a "critical hot load". Got here at 0350 only to find out that no one will be here to unload me until 0700 and that I should come back at 0800-0900. On the bills of states delivery is to be made on 10/25 at midnight, but no one works here at midnight..... Gonna get some sleep and try again at 0800.

... and turns out the customer shows that the appointment isn't until 0830 tomorrow morning. I'm now waiting for customer service to find out what's going on.

$27.65 divided by the approximatly 220 milea of toll road in Ohio works out to $.125 per mile. Taking US 6/20 or US30 across only adds 30 miles, max. From a bussiness stance it makes a lot of sense unless you're running the emtire lwngrh of IN and Ohiio, fueling before or afterthe turnpike.

I don't think it ever makes sense to take the Indiana Toll Road. That's literally highway robbery and is a total tourist trap

PS, just checked the IN rates and they must have really reduced the tolls. I remember driving out to Pittsburgh about 4 or 5 years ago and it was $30 for a car, now it's only $9
