Well, shoot. If I run 400 miles a day, I could get to Lititz, PA at 6am Tuesday and need a break ASAP. I could probably run harder and get there earlier, but still need a 10 and not be able to get out of the area. The storm center was to hit that area on Tuesday, but now I see they pushed it out to 2am Wed.

They're forecasting 39-73 mph winds and 3-6 inches of rain. Would you truck through that? I love storms, and would love to see it, but I don't want to flip over and such. I'll only have 24k in the box, and then an empty box after that. Obviously I need to keep my eye on the changing ETAs of Sandy, but what would you do? Just plan on showing up after the storm? Get close and then see? Someone tell me what to do, lol!

Of course, me getting their before the storm chances are getting slimmer as I sit here waiting for them to find me an MT. The GM place in Hudson, WI where they wanted me to grab one is not open on Sundays. I have my fingers crossed that this isn't an all day ordeal like it was for me last week in West Virginia.

So you are going just west of Carlisle. I'm watching Sand too trying to see if getting to Carlsle before the worst part hits isi possible since my delivery is only 8 miles fro the OC and riding out the worst of the storm there would be ok with me

go ahead and head that way if the wind gets to strong to stay on road find a safe place to stop and either try to park next to a building on lee side or park with your nose into the wind good luck and be safe

No, I'm going 30 or 40 miles NE of Carlisle, I think. Yeah, going to head that way and give it my best shot I suppose. I'll probably get there and the receiver will be out of power for days and/or not there. Shenanigans of some sort, surely.
