Oh, and another thing, word has it 8 drivers on my board are stranded in the NJ area due to the hurricane and flooding. Who knows how many other drivers are in the same predicament. Apparently, they are flooded in and can't get out. It's nice to know that Schneider cares so much about their drivers that they would send them into NJ knowing that all of the forecasts were stating 4 days in advance that NJ was going to get hammered by a #### hurricane. That's pretty much all brokered loads coming out of there too so they chose to send them into the danger zone.

If you're in GA I don't see why you can't drop that trailer in Charlotte then grab something else out of that yard heading towards your house. I've done that twice coming out of GA and AL.

I've been in Charlotte since 2pm. I've been talking with my DBL since this morning about it. I can't drop it here because it needs to be relayed first before I can be taken off the load. She left for the day without calling me back. And it's a 7am live unload Friday morning 800 miles from here. That means I need to get out of here a 5am at the latest tomorrow morning to avoid a service failure. It's a special customer request Kimberly Clark/Critical load. Screw it, I'm just taking an extra day or two off because of this crap, I just better be back by Tuesday at the latest or I'm done. I can't wait to see what load they send me on this weekend. I'll be available Sunday and I'll bet you it ain't heading west.

Hope things work out for you man. I was told if they get you home late you stay home longer so that part shouldn't be an issue but missing out on voting that would make me mad to.

Well this sucks, had about an 1800 mile run to Rialto CA, had my NAT set the same for 3 straight days yet the preassignment I got was a worthless 190 mile run up to Porterville CA where I now sit waiting for another load. I have enough time on my 70 left to run all day today and tomorrow before habit to take a restart on Friday but that's going completely screw it all up if I'm stuck here wasting time waiting for a #### load.

Just remember, any employer CANNOT keep you from voting if you wish too. Even if it means you have to sit home till Tuesday, there is nothing they can make you do if it might jeopardize your chance of getting to vote. An employer can get in really big trouble for that.

And they cannot say that you have to run because you should've gotten an absentee ballot, because you are not required by law to vote that way just because you're a trucker.
