Yep, no split breaks here. Only 10s. They have enough people who can't log as it is so they don't want people to mead those up.

I'm going to give the regulatory department a call tomorrow about how to do my 10hr breaks. I've now been told too many different ways of doing it. I want it straight from the top.

Split sleeper birth breaks are against SNI company policy. Only 10 hour breaks are acceptable. 10 hour breaks can be logged as 10 hours in the sleeper , 10 hours off duty, or any combination of the 2. As long as it totals 10 hours you're ok.

Its really simple you A after doing your post trip you go inside eat dinner your off duty say 2 hours. Then back to tractor and go in sleeper berth for 8 hours that equals 10. Or B just go straight to sleeper berth for 10. Or C get a motel and be off duty for 10. And no splitting your time

Or you can just go off duty for 10. It is not an issue at all with Schneider. I'm almost positive that per DOT rule, the only reason you would have to log sleeper berth is if you are running 8/2 split logs. If you are just doing 10's then off duty is fine. And SNI has never said anything to me about it cause I never use S/B.

If your in the SB then your breaking the law if you show off duty

Off duty when your not on duty are not required to be ready to work or not under any responsibility for performing work.

Sleeper berth all time spent in sleeper berth

If you are splitting, the 8 hour period has to be logged sleeper birth. Elogs won't let you do it any other way.

When I was OTR at Butler and Estrella, I made it a habit to split. Made good money doing that. It's a shame Schneider is against it. The excuse I was given was that they don't want the new drivers screwing it all. In other words, they think you are too dumb.

Dumb and gullible. Enjoying your sensors yet?

Double post. Oopsy! Must be that hot, hairy and chubby piece of burnin' love SNI driver without his shirt on in the driver's seat next to me where I'm parked that has me all off my game. Ugh.

I took your words to heart a few weeks ago, and put in my notice. I'm quittin' my #####in' and movin' on. I'll be back though for that Choice Program though.

Oh, hai, if I'm on Choice, I can do the 8/2 split, right? I don't have to follow SNI policy of a straight ten? Nakmuay?
