So you know his name and number and what would you do if you do meet him? Would you beat him up? Why are you making threats on here?

I totally grasp your anguish, been pulling orange trailers over two years now. I have had my share of messed up trailers left at shippers. Until they really punish the lazy drivers that do this sort of stuff the lazy ones will continue to be this way. Sorry you missed your TAH. Just don't let a idiot lazy driver cause you to do something you would not normally do.

How much fuel did you have? What style truck? What model trailer? Maybe for him it was legal. Because in reality there is no way he would make it from ID to IL with out hitting a scale. I've hauled 47000 pounds and not been over. A 45000# load trl tandems in around 10-or 11 hole.

That's why I leave the scale ticket with the BOL and fill out that relay sheet in the pumpkin book also I put down my year and make of tractor and the tandom hole its in when I drop it so the next guy has as much info as they need. I hope you called your dbl and turned that driver in because scales can be avoided it just takes some work going around them and is the wrong thing to do.
I've meet a lot of good drivers out there for SNI and helpful to. The drivers and dbl aren't the problem for the most part at this company just the bean counters and I think the dbl's do a good job of taking care of us at least at my oc they do good work.
Sorry so many got hung out for the holiday that stinks. I was out for three weeks and was ready to snap myself when it got close to going home and a relay that kept me stuck out might of pushed me over the edge as well. -
Pretty hard to avoid scales in Utah and Wyoming with there point of entry system.

wouldnt do that either

Lol, that's exactly what happened! They only had 1 lane open and it took a little over an hour to get in.
Oh well, still put down 635 miles through the night. -
Most likely was legal for him. Don't blame the driver for SNI setting up a relay with a big difference in truck weights. I have a 2013 Cascadia and have pulled loads close to 49k lbs with a couple hundred lbs to spare. I always leave a scale ticket with my relays though.
