Company I was at told you how to get in and out of the truck. Told you how to do everything. They even sent people around to video you when you had no clue anyone was there. Their pay was always above average but as they kept adding new rules they started losing their experienced drivers. You can only take so much bs

Don't you dare talk on the cell phone while operating the vehicle.

Nope not even with a headset. If you do an somebody plows into you there lawyer will see you were on the phone then the accident becomes your fault. Then the judge will throw you in jail and the lawyers will take your house and all your money just because you were on the phone when there client ran into you. :biggrin_25524:

My DBL was off last week due to surgery and the schmuck that filled in while she was gone, normally works the night dispatch which as everyone knows how those clowns are. He would call me while I was driving and ask what I was doing, and I would be like, WTF? Don't you look at the computer before calling me? Oh yeh, don't talk to me while I'm driving either, goodbye. LOL

Mine called me once. When I called her back, she thanked me for not answering when I was driving. It was a sudden load change or something that needed my immediate attention. But it was just that one time. Now, support shift? That was another story. I probably got a half-dozen calls from them. I'd see the Green Bay area code and know it was them, but I didn't answer. I returned their calls when I stopped.

I know but that's the scare tactic I was feed while in orientation. Even if the person was drunk and hit me if I was on the phone the lawyers would find away to make it my fault.
