Nope vacation is per diem plus gross. The Charlotte terminal showed me the sheet. Got lucky he just got out of meeting that was dealing with vacation.

I'm really getting tired of their stance on inverters. They won't install them, they won't let me pay them to install one. The plug in ones aren't enough. My laptop blows the fuses in them constantly. I've even tried going from the 15A fuse included with them to a 20A fuse and it's still melting those. I finally gave up tonight and ran the cord with alligator clips out my door and into the battery box. I'm tired of blowing fuses and melting plugs. At least it's easier to do on a Cascadia with the battery box being right under the door. Can't even see the wires from the outside.
I understand why they are so against people having them installed, but I don't get why they won't allow a driver to spend their own money to pay a company shop to install one. Just make sure that they inspect all trucks for them and check the records to ensure they are installed by the shops at the OCs. Have the shop check every time the truck is in for a PM. I'd gladly pay a ridiculous labor rate for a couple hours of time if it meant I could power all my stuff without having to worry about these little plug in inverters failing constantly. Hell I'm more likely to cause a fire when one of these plugs melts down right under my bed than I would with a properly installed one behind the seat. -

Sure thing, I'll do that when I get a button that allows me to turn off my DBLs electricity at home every night when he gets off work. -
I have a 300w inverter that I plug in and have no issues with it powering my laptop and my hot spot. Now the inverter I got from walmart worked for about two days then just started popping fuses every time I plugged it in. I threw that out and grabbed one from pilot and it's been fine. I also bought a coffee pot that plugs into the trucks outlet and that thing works pretty good as well but dims the lights a tad when you switch it on LOL but I have fresh coffee in about 15 minuets

I have a 400W cobra around here somewhere, just have to find it in the "Miscellaneous Stuff" box I have on the top bunk. I may just go buy a single 800W that uses the clamps so I can go down to one inverter at night, right now I'm using one for my Laptop/Phone and another for the TV/Xbox.
The only downside with using the clamps is I have to unplug it every morning and put it back at night. -

I haven't had it installed yet. My PMs aren't done at OCs. I do them on my home time and since Sturtevant is just a drop lot I take my truck to the Frieghtliner Shop in Oak Creek, WI. The sensors were announced just before my last PM so the outside shops didn't have them yet. I've been idling for about 6 hours straight tonight on the Florida/georgia state line for A/C and power. Idled last night during my entire 10 too just north of Jacksonville because it was about 65F and crazy humid.
