My truck died on me twice today. It's sitting in the shop in Dallas. Something to do with the DEF. I'm in a loaner truck. Taking my 10 in the Ozarks in Arkansas. I really miss my comfortable truck. Somethings I sometimes take for granted.

Pulled in to the Pilot in Bettendorf, IA ahead of the "snowzilla" advertised in Qualcomm world this afternoon... Deliver in Sioux City, SD 16:30 tomorrow... Not sure it's gonna happen, but we'll see.

I had a couple days of snow driving last week. First was at night on a load headed from Salem OR to Reno NV, had snow covered roads going over the pass at the CA/OR border and then also citing across the mountains from Weed CA to Reno NV, didn't have any chain requirements though. The next night I got a load from Reno to L.A. and had to chain up for about a 120 mile stretch on US395 from the CA/NV border to Bishop CA. A couple days after that I went up to Salem and then caught some snow in northern CA while headed back down to L.A.

Now in headed up to Denver but weather looks to be decent other then being cold as ####. 18 degrees right now and windy as hell in Casa Blanca NM. Was 3 degrees earlier about 60 miles west of here.

Why are drivers so whiney and needy now days. He lost their respect cause he has to walk and has to buy his own lunch. Hell I thought you were joining them to run your business. Maybe SNI has been doing this so long they can spot the crybabies real fast and they put them in the other hotel :)

you won't last if your whining about that kind of childish stuff

    Nakmuay Thanks this.

Ahhhh the classic 395 route, I try to avoid it as much as possible ad take the 5 instead, especially with a heavy load. Nice drive I have to admit but I can't put down as many miles because of all the climbs and twisty roads that I run into.
