I was afraid you'd say that. I must have a newer version. I have a digital thermostat instead of a dial.

And that's why having stuff to stay warm is necessary. I have a -32 mummy bag rolled up under my bunk if I ever needed it. I also have like 5 blankets because I like being warm at night and they are also good for placing around the sides of my mattress to keep cold air from coming in from under the bunk.

If it were ever 17 degrees out I'd try to find a nearby hotel if I couldn't idle or use my bunk heater, but if I couldn't find one then I could still stay warm.

Going to try sneaking through Chicago quickly tomorrow morning to get into Wisconsin. Have 200 miles left on this load, then I'm hoping for a deadhead home since I'll only be 100 miles away. Then for 5 days off to relax and enjoy Christmas.

I'm hoping to save a little time by going up 94 around 330 tomorrow morning. Just need to get out of the city before the morning rush.

Yea, I dealt with the wind all the way from northern Alabama today. Snow doesn't bother me as much.
