What state? I spent half my day on 84 in Oregon. Road was a sheet of ice with a dusting or snow up top east of Cascade Locks last night and this morning. Went by about 8 wrecks. I'm finally home now for a few days off, glad to be done with that!

Depends on how many things they find broken on your truck. You might not see it but they seem to find it

Yep, that's why I don't let them do mine anymore. There's a Freighliner dealer 10 miles from where I park. I just take it up there over my TAH and pick it up when I go back to work. No downtime for me and if there's any major problems, I'm at home and don't have to spend several days sitting in a hotel in the middle of nowhere.

 

And if anybody does have to do a pm when I was a company I always tried to do it at the carlisle oc the quality inn hotel I think is the name is a really good hotel to stay at so just tell your dbl that u want to get a room while you wait

Dallas is a very fast shop for team pm's. I think it was like 2 hours. Carlisle took ALL day. Good thing we planned our restart then and was at the Hotel Carlisle (I think it was...that was 2005.)

 

nakmuay got a question and you seem really knowledgeable i will be buying one of those retired truck from schneider and im planning to do the choice program i read the qualifications but they seem too "easy"

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 3 months of recent Class A driving experience
• Hazmat endorsement required within 90 days of hire

i already a year with werner as a regional/dedicated driver so are those the only requirements or theres a fine print?

 

You're giving me to much credit lol u dont neee a hazmat but it's good to have because u might be in am area where thats the onky to choose from or that load gets you to your house etc..... other then decent credit a laptop and an air card that's all u really need oh yeah and I heard people from different companies get free lunch and dont have to walk to another hotel just to get some breakfast lol

Really though if u plan on financing through sni just fill out the credit app and questionnaire and wait and see what else they say
