I'm starting on Monday. I go to orientation in Lebanon TN.

 

Better yet I think I'll drag my mattress into the training center and sleep there. Wonder what they'll say when they come in tomorrow?

It's not really that bad. Just bring a -30 degree rated sleeping bag to work all will be fine.

What's crazy is this morning at Gary OC I met one of the SNI Union drivers. He said in his contract that he would not freeze or sweet in the tractor. So when they tried putting in the ambient sensor on his truck he threatened to call his Union Rep. So SNI didn't put the sensor on his truck or complain about his idling.

When did schneider drivers go union?

 

I know that when I woeked there in 2000, The shop workers in Green Bay were Union. I don't remember any drivers being union. I drove a cabover.

 

ya know, this might make an excellent statement!!

 

As I understand it from when I was in orientation, they have a contract with the last remaining union drivers. After they eventually retire SNI will do everything it can to never have a union shop again.

 

I think you were fed a line of crap, but I suppose it's possible. Barely.
