Django, must suck. My truck is too old for
Them to put it on. I don't idle anyway though.

Hey drivers.... Jumping in this thread here...lol
Imma former sni driver and currently trying to rehire.
Anyway, my buddy on the dollar general account said sni is installing some apu's on some of the new trucks. and yeah he mentioned those new sensors you guys are talking about. hmmm, cant wait...lol -
Only newbies get new trucks
quad core project butter smoothness -
Get the maintenance guys on it.... That or call a freightliner dealer and ask one of their mechanics about it, if there was anything you can do to get it working...
-
Oh yeah, i know that one. I drove for sni twice. both times I got a white 07 century.. and last year when i was there all the dollar general guys were getting the 2012's.... but the trucks sni is not getting rid of yet are still going to first come first serve if your on a regional position.
-
Lol i dont agree with that. I got a cascadia after switchin from teams to solo only dfference in this one is no bull crap onguard which i hated anyway -
I think it a mix of some luck, your dbl, and trucks currently available....lol
-
Im solo also, when you put the truck into high idle....and the check engine starts to flash, tap the accelerator, then turn off the cruise, turn it back on, and put it back in high idle. That's what I do.
-
lol I did this without even anyone telling me. I got a sleeping bag, a heavy blanket and my thermals.......I didn't even use my bunk heater until my a week ago because it just got soooo cold. BTW: I stopped today, temps around 14*f....my truck high idled. To save my battery, I usually run my bunk heater for the first 5 hours, and my last 5 hours I will run the truck.
-
Omg how has every not catch this. SNI isn't getting apus on there trucks. They do have some freightliner and knight systems on about 100 new trucks. All those do is run on a battery pack for cooling. After 10 hours they need to charge. There far from apus and you'll still freeze in the winter. or roast on 34 reset
