My rule was always anything under 20. Below that it starts sounding bad.

You can expense anything you have to pay for that is for company business. If you buy a light, expense it. Scales from places where the EFS card doesn't work? Expense it.Just the same for all those toll roads in the middle of the country that our EZ-Pass doesn't work on. Carry cash and just send in the reciepts. Any parts or services for the equipment should be an expense. Hotel rooms when approved by the company and not covered by a Comcheck should be sent in through the Expense option in Workflow.

Made my self some decent food tonight. All I had to cook was a lunchbox oven. Used some precooked chicken in a can, added some BBQ sauce and a bit of corn on the side.

Cost me all of about $4 and is much better tasting than anything I could get from the Denny's at the Flying J.

Yep, it's not bad. Took about 30 minutes to do it. This is my second time giving this a try. Last time I made the mistake of using cheap plates and my table wound up all covered in the juices from the veggies.

Hell yea, Country Crock butter is awesome. Easy to spread without messing up the bread. Gotta have something unhealthy.

Ugh, they taught us none of this stuff, all I know is to drain the air from the tanks during pre trip and to keep the tanks topped off during cold weather. My tanks are full and that's about it when it comes to your recommended advice lol. Let me guess, leave the trailer brakes released is to prevent the lines from freezing?

Leaving the trailer brakes released keeps your brake shoes from freezing to your brake drums. Only really need to worry about that if you've been driving in a wet, snowy, or slushy environment and its below freezing or will get below freezing while parked for an extended period of time.

Draining the water out of your air tanks keeps the system from possibly freezing up.

As far as idling at very cold temperatures to keep your fuel from jelling, as long as your using fuel from that region of the country then it should be winterized to withstand common temps for that region at that time of year. If its reaching record breaking temps or is a hell of a lot colder then that area usually sees, then its a good idea to idle.

My old century's use to idle a bit rough when starting in cold weather but wasnt anything serious. The 2013 Cascadia I've got now doesn't seem to have much of a difference in idle when starting in below freezing temps.

My Webasto heater coil just went out last night. Good thing I'm headed to NC. The only worry is that they'll put the ambient sensor in too for good measure lol!
