Your ETA to final delivery is what you're rated on. It can't be changed by anyone but you. If after you pre plan your trip and get a preassign after your current load, your NAT will only change. Its really 3 hours early, 30 minutes late. I have no doubt that the system is flawed. If you set your ETA and your truck breaks down, it cost against you to change it and etc.

I set my final ETA to what I pre tripped I rarely ever change it. So when I get to the DU and my eta is set 2 hours early or like this last load 5 hrs later then I set it for its weird. Ill never get a bonus anyway so I'm not worried about it.

Your bonus is really everyday you're on the job getting experience for better pay in the future. Whether it's with Schneider or anywhere else. Just do your job the best you can.

Question, when you get the preasignment and you adjust the etas do you wait to accept the load or do you just hit accept

I wait for the times to up date then accept the load then make it active. I'm usually already moving before this happens I don't wait just put the customer code in the nav and go. Then I'll accept the load at a stop light or coffee break.

I do agree getting the experience is a bonus. But not worth it at this pay rate with the idle sensor having to eat out all the time. Not to mention freezing my butt off then sweating it off in the summer. I've already made some calls and I to will be moving on real shortly now. I know I'm easily replaced I get that but I'm safe on time and have no baggage or drama either. Out of my class at SNI only a few made it to the road and most of them have been fired for hitting stuff already. To me paying more in pay and fuel has to be cheaper then grinding threw students paying for training and accidents just to keep 20% of them then loose half of them because there smart enough to leave. I don't know I wish all well ill talk to my dbl but doubt ill get the raise I'm looking for. Been a good company but with 6 months experience I can leave make more money and not freeze.

I wouldn't call that even close to a bonus with the problems you guys have with idling I would say that is experience

Maybe you didn't understand that statement. I was implying to get the "bonus pay" out of your mind and work everyday for experience for better pay in the future. Whether it be with Schneider or another company.

Well, thanks to another member of truckers report, we did find Big M's weak spot but Im not really worried about it. Their CSA is less than stellar (safety), but considering that we always do a very thorough PTI it shouldnt be an issue. Chris refuses to drive a truck with safety issues on it, keeps his DAC and CSA in tip top condition, is very thorough on his logs, and makes sure that anything that needs to be done, is done. Heres hoping that this is the only weak link.
