Second night here at the OC in French Camp... Will be out to Denver first thing AM... IF... my Qualcom is fixed.. Spent yesterday and today getting the starter (testing revealed that ALL the batteries needed to be replaced), and some other minor items repaired... They decided to do a "Firmware" update on the truck, and blew the Qualcom out... Didn't know till I started working my preassignment, hit Nav, and error message returned.... Had to go thru express bay, and three hours later, here I am bedded down again at the same place.......

Came out Jan 1st as well, and went from Edwardsville, to Laredo, to Fontana, and was headed to Portland before the starter issue, so if you are willing to run hard and long, the miles are there. I'm out four weeks and home five days as well...

Will celebrate four months with Schneider AND 50 Saturday! Not sure where, but will have to splurge on a good meal somewhere...

NYC Bronx long island, it's all there. Avg length of haul for SE region is roughly 350 miles. Being out just one week you may clear $600 if you don't use your cash advance. But when you go home the next week check will suck. If truck is rolling your making money if truck is parked your not making money. Also the new bonus has a section for days worked. Best thing that's ever happened to me......

 

dang. i would really like to avoid the nyc area...seems like a nightmare. ill have to ask my recruiter about that when she calls later about why the hell does se regional stay in the NE? and now im second guessing this...barely clearing 600 and your gone all week?

 

I stay out 3 weeks to make miles. Then home 3 days. . I left home Mon and I'm at 950 miles for the week. Unless your otr its hard to make 2500 miles a week.
