Their next step for a saving fuel is going to be to use nothing but day cabs and tell you to get a tent that fits on the catwalk between the cab and trailer.

 

9 degrees the other night and my truck would not idle. 4 hours of running nothing but my bunk heater and the low battery alarm went off. This is pathetic. I'm half tempted to move the sensor up under the sat unit for the Qualcomm and see if that works. If so, just move it back down when leaving truck at OC when doing my AHT

So, had a bit of a shocker today. Got a call from SNI today, was expecting it to be the info I needed for orientation on Monday, but that wasn't the case. The phone call was saying that I was disqualified as a driver due to a no fault accident that I had back in 2010. Kinda shocked me since the recruiter and I went over everything about it in the interview and he even checked with higher up and said that I was still good to go.

 

you mentioned it to them man? that sucks dude, you showed them paper work and everything? Im sorry about that, what a huge set back.

Yeah, didnt hide anything from them about it either, was a no fault, my pickup hydroplaned going around a corner and I hit a tree headon, almost killed me. Crazy thing is I have had my CDL for 2 years now and had no bad marks on my record with that. And the pickup accident is the only one on my record.

 

just take it out and leave it out til its time to upload the info. Your machine will log/hold the data anyway on its little hard drive. Then when you insert the card the data will auto load/save to the card. I was saving upto 3 mg of data because it kept uploading to the card and couldnt email that amount. it should only be 11kb or so of info!!!
