IDK who they are giving it to. All I was told was it was going to a southern regional driver and I had to have it back tomorrow night and my truck should be there by then. IDK if we are just swapping trucks or what. Just kinda sucks, was just about to turn 100k and I am sure the one I am getting will have close to 200k on it, and I just got all the bugs worked out of this one!!

Hello Schneider drivers! I went through the training academy in Green Bay several years ago when they still had the full course program there and I was given a 'Schneider Driver Training Manual' or something with a similar title. It was a fairly large, bound book with the typical info a new driver needs to learn along with Schneider specific procedures. I've moved on to another company since then and that book fell apart a while back, maybe from all the bouncing in the truck :). Does anybody still have one of these books or would you know how to get one? Thanks.

So, OMW to deliver my last load before heading to the OC to swap out my truck, I stopped at a pilot to grab some grub. Upon returning to my soon to be old truck, it was discovered that I had apparently run over a nail in the parking lot and now had a flat drive tire.

2 hours later they show up to replace it, which of course took 10 minutes(the place was 3 miles down the road).

I finally get back to the OC and the driver is waiting for me to swap trucks with me. By waiting, I mean he was just sitting in his truck, waiting. He hadn't packed any of his crap up, because in his words "you never know if the truck will show up". An hour later after freezing he is finally done and we swap trucks.

Now, I am not one to complain, but this guy was kinda old, and his truck smelled like it to, and when I mean old, his driver number was 1. I am going in Sunday to fumigate and clean.

They paid out my one week of vacation time today. Somehow a whole week of vacation came out to $304.:biggrin_25516::biggrin_25512:

Looks like I'm going to be giving Payroll a call on Monday to see how they managed to calculate that.

Pretty sure they take your last calender year, take your miles for the year and divide by 52, and pay you that, not 100% sure about that tho.

Here's one for ya...I was 1.5% over on the idle so didn't get the bonus.....p**sed me off so much I decided to run to the floor this last week and got 2950 miles in from Monday noon to Sat at 18:00. Mostly because of the assignments I got.... almost all interstate driving. Sometimes it just pays to be pi**sed.

Yes, I was 1.9% out of route.. whew that was close but got it! 4th bonus in a row with about 30,929 miles for the quarter.

Next week am moving to the IC side (owner operator) so no more company bonus for me but should be able to make up for that pretty easily:Transportation cost. Truck On!
