That policy is mostly so they can blame it all on the driver and get out of any liability if they can prove the driver was on his phone during a wreck. Then they can just say, "Our policy is no phones while driving. He violated that policy so we will not defend him."
The policy was termination if they found out you were on the phone while driving. If they enforced the policy as it's written they would have to fire at least 75% of the fleet and then they would go out of business.

If you skip a fuel solution it's not held against you. If they ever held the 50 gallon thing against me I never noticed it, my compliance was always well above the requirement. Fueling at an OC is always considered a compliant fuel stop.
-
Lol now I'm really confused
-
I think they are making the rules up as they go along.
-
People are just thinking too much around here. If they give you something as a fuel solution then use it (or skip it if you want to). If you want to fill up at an OC it's always a compliant fuel stop. Why the hell would I waste my time putting in 50 gallons? I always fill er up
I pulled up my numbers
Dec 2012 - 90.91%
Nov - 100%
Oct - 88.24%
Sept - 87.5%
Aug - 90.91%
Jul - 86.67%
Jun - 87.5%
May - 78.57%
Apr - 100%
Mar - 100%
I never did the 50 gallon stuff and as you can see I'm compliant. I did ALMOST always use every fuel solution or OC, unless they gave me a stupid out of route fuel solution. I also skipped fuel stops when I didn't need any. Maybe there were 50 gallon fuel solutions somewhere in the numbers that I didn't comply with, but who knows. I fueled where they told me and as you can see my compliance percentage was more than acceptable. -
I'll change the subject a little here...
GET UR TRUCK WASHED!.... Schneider national has an account with Blue Beacon, and after each PM, your rig is qualified for a free wash... Just confirmed with Blue Beacon, as I came out of my PM last week....
Here's our corporate account number...
Schneider National Account #0345796
Don't believe me? Look up a Blue Beacon, call them and ask if ur eligible. Give them this account number, and they'll ask you for your truck number...
Got one free last two PM's...HotH2o Thanks this. -
Not true. First if OC has no truck wash then you get a blue beacon but it is only the oil Change service and then the shop adds your tractor to the bb list.

I only wash this old 06' when I'm not going into the snow. Most OC truck washes are either broken or not running because its under 30 degrees out.

most OC washes do nothing more than a hard driving rain does.

You're right lol! Except with hot water. I just wash my own truck with soap, water, a bucket, and a extendable pole that I interchange my trailer broom head and wash head with.
