pretty sure the miles are assigned to the driver that is logged in as driving at the time

A question for the Schneider drivers, since I left the company I get emails on job openings with Schneider, last week I got one for a flatbed in MN(dedicated) with a sign on and relocation help. Is Schneider getting back into flatbeds?

They are taking over the trucking portion of Viracon glass out of Owattonna..Schneider trucks, Viracon curtainside trailers. They offered the Viracon drivers jobs but I don't think many of them are coming over. I'm moving from van to that account. Start on the 13th. Never done flat bed work..should be interesting. Couldn't pass it up, weekend hometime, only 40 miles away. Quite a bit moire pay.

    Knotme Thanks this.

I need to ask about the glass deal. I was a glass guy for the last 13 years before getting into driving. Wonder if Im t far away living in Omaha. Gonna ask at my oc tomorrow. I gotta imagine a good portion of those loads head this way. When I was doing glass the same Viracon drivers always showed up. Same with a couple distributors around KC.

Miles are split 50/50, but the bonus may be figured individually.

Yeah qualcomm's were down and fortunately I was in Arizona. I didn't get my next assignment until this next morning. Stayed right by the huge super wal mart with many food joints and even got a hair cut. The next morning, I got a 300 mile dead head and 300 miles back to Az! During my pretrip I noticed oil leaking :( well I filled it with half a jug of oil, checked it at the customer and it keeps leaking alot faster than I thought. :( Well got routed to drop the trailer at the customer and now I'm at the Arizona Phoenix Freightliner which is VERY nice. Better than the side of the road. Anyways, I have a feeling I'm going to be here for at least a day.

Well that sucks! I'm stuck in AZ. So if I'm going to be staying here overnight, can I get a hotel, pay for it myself and they will reimburse me via the expense log?

If your truck is in the shop I don't see why you couldn't. I think you have to get it authorized first though.
