Well, I'm out of the van hauling end of things. Start the new gig next week on a dedicated account and looking forward to it...a predictable schedule, more $ and weekends home...can't wait.

There isnt anymore to what im saying that i havent told you. I was told to leave the truck at flying j and that they would get me a greyhound home. But that i had to try and find a ride to greyhound station lol. And that once they recover the truck they will mail me my belongings....So i said #### you ill find my own way. And there exact words were it is schneider policy that you can not have a reckless driving within 5 yrs that i somehow slipped threw that cracks

Anyone else ever had a black cloud following a trailing unit? I picked up a trailer on Tuesday and went to my live load. Followed the directions on my qualcomm and address does not exist. After 2 hours of sitting my DBL gets me the right address. I go and wait while they unload. Next day I go to another live load and once again qualcomm sends me to the wrong address. I only sat for an hour while dispatch figured out where I was supposed to go.

Thursday I go to another live load and get sent back and forth between 3 different buildings because they had no load info for me. Dispatch gave me 3 different BOL's to use. None of them were good. 4 hours later they finally figure out where I am supposed to be and what I'm supposed to pick up. I get loaded. I head out towards my destination and get pulled into the inspection. They pass my truck, even gave me a pretty green sticker for my windshield, but found a problem with my trailer. The kid was cool. Didn't put me out of service but told me to get it fixed ASAP. He also told me that Schneiders CSA score is in the yellow and they'll be pulling more in to do inspections. By this time I only have an hour left on my 14 so I find a truck stop and pull off.

Friday (yesterday) I stop by the OC and get my trailer fixed. Burned 2 hours on my 14 waiting. Headed to my live unload and the mexicans want to take lunch before they start to unload me. I make an offer of $50 to whichever one of them wants to start unloading me right away and they all say no! The mexicans where I come from would have done it for $20! I cant believe they all shot me down. So I wait for them to eat. They finally get me unloaded and I head to my next pickup. I get there and they refuse to load me because one of the workers from my previous stop had put a hole in the trailer with the forklift.

At this point I only have 2 hours left on my clock so I hurry over to the repair shop which was only 3 miles away. I ask him if I can stay on his property to take my 10 if I run out of time. He agrees but warns me I'll be locked in. That wont work because I've got to pick up a load in the morning before anyone will get there to let me out. Luckily he fixes it fast. I have 30 minutes on my clock so I pull across the street to a dirt lot and take my ten.

By this time I'm so frustrated I call dispatch and ask them to find me a drop and hook because I dont want this particular trailer anymore. It takes a few hours but they found me one. I'm so glad to be rid of that thing. I've got a live unload tomorrow then will be forced to do a reset because of all the wasted time. I was told I'd get detention pay. We'll see!!

I log 7-10 minute pretrips, 5 minute fueling, 5-8 minute live load/unload, 8-13 minute drop & hook, and a 5 minute post trip. I dont log my pretrips until im actually done doing a pretrip amd ready to hot the road. At the 4 minute mark i hit the road I hit the road which puts a few more minutes on my pretrip and gets me a couple miles down the road before kicking me into drive. I never log myself into drive, i let ot kick me into it automatically, which saves me a few minutes on my 11. I put myself in off duty or on duty if I get a chance to stop within 5 miles of my destination.

Im out here to make money. I dont agree with rules and regs that limit how much money I can make even if well within a safe driving condition..... So I'll stretch the as far as I see fit.

Hey guys, when I do multiple stops do I use one trip sheet for both drops or a separate trip sheet for each drop? Thanks

Should be one per load number, at least it is in bulk. Probably the same everywhere.

Mulitple stops under one load # go with one trip sheet. Just be sure each of your copy of bol has the same driver #, trailer #, load # start and end times on them along with your signature and a barcode stickers on each. Also make sure your trip sheet includes total number of pages yuo will scan including the trip sheet.

I think there is more to the story than you are saying. I have no doubt that the reason they gave you was your wreckless from 3 years ago....but I think that was just their excuse. I only believe half of what I read on this board.

All that looks good except you're wasting 5 min each day by logging time for your post trip. You're not required to show time for it. Just flag it.

The OSRs in Gary disagree with you. I was doing it that way and they were not happy. They told me 5 minutes was required.
